It
is important to mention the institutions and writers that foster reading,
writing and diffusion in our town.
Firstly, there is “Roque Saenz Peña Library” inaugurated in 1996. Its objectives are to contribute with the culture and the population's education, promote the participation of children, teenagers and adults in different cultural activities, motivate the use of the different materials and the pleasure to read.
At the moment there are a lot of medicine, history and economy volumes, school texts, encyclopedias, dictionaries, novels and videos.
On the other hand “the Cave of the Dreams" is a cultural initiative in Adelia María, formed in 2004. Our Town’s writers met and shared their own poetries and other people’s stories and fragments of novels, besides being involved in nice discussions about topics.
The dreamers of this bright cave are: Rosa Cortés, José Luis Alvarado, Sandra Depietro, Maximo Cataldo, Horacio Andrada, María E. Medina, Sandra Antonione, Hugo Fernández, “Pinino” Antonione, Mariela Tatta, Margarita Quiroga, Carina Putetto...
