In Adelia María different celebrations and exhibitions are organized in order to have a good time and to enjoy with friends or family.
A typical event is the Religious Celebrations in honor to our “Virgin de la Merced” and for Adelia María’s birthday.
On 24th September there is a procession leaded by the image of the Virgin de la Merced. After that, the celebration continues until midnight with music and shows. This year the singer, Abel Pintos, visited us.
On the other hand, there is usually the Livestock and Agricultural Exhibition of the Rural Society. It is also a commercial, industrial, transport, handmade and educative exposition celebrated yearly.
Another celebration is on 25th May “Revolution’ s Day”, traditional meeting on Sarmiento Square, organized by Adelia María Institute since 1956. Each year, this Institution prepares different topics like “Buenos Aires Colonial” in 2005 and "La Mesopotamia Agentina", in 2006 in order to represent a topic which concerns us as Argentine people with our values and traditions.
Finally, there is the “Rodeo and Folk Festival”, organized by the traditionalist group “Armindo Soloa”, which gathers almost 3,000 people. This group was founded in 1985 to conserve and to promote our cultural tradition.
