There are Children and Adults choirs in our town for those that like singing. There are also two music schools for those that like playing any instrument.
In relation to the Children Choir, it was inaugurated in March,1982 directed by Victor Hugo Budini. In 2005 the choir acted for the first time in Santa Rosa of Calamuchita . They also acted in the Religious Celebrations in Adelia María.
With regard to the adults, professor Mario Spoto began his classes in 1992. At present the director is Jorge Aguilar. The first participation of this choir was in November, 2004 in honour to Mario Spoto, in Río Cuarto where all the choirs that were directed by him met. Other performances were in Del Campillo, and in Río Cuarto for a Christmas concert. In 2005 they acted on 8th July and in the Religious Festival.
In relation to Néstor Galvani’s school, he began with his guitar lessons when he was 17. Then, he taught organ classes and incorporated percussion instruments. Later he added the charango. Nowadays he continues teaching specially guitar and organ to children, teenagers and adults.
Hugo Fernández has offered music classes since 2002 and he also gives gratuitous classes in the Town Council through the Culture Commission.
