In 1982 the Provincial Civil Defense communicated to the Mayors from different towns that they should form the Civil Defense Group in each community and it is also necessary to have a voluntary group of firefighters. The voluntary brigade started in a big room given by “La Danesa” Cooperative and “Demichelis Cereales” in 1984. The following year the Brigade together with the Mayor tried to donation of a plot located in Bartolomé Mitre Street with an exit to José Grando Street, where it is located nowadays. This institution works very hard to train its own members and to improve the working conditions because they want to offer the best service to the community.
