The objective of this sport is the integral, physical and mental development of the student. At this time this sport is only carried out at Adelia María Athletic Club and there are two groups: Women Volleyball and Mini-Volleyball. The former is dictated by the teacher Virginia Madrussan, to thirty-five students and Mini-volleyball, by professor Daniel Zufiarurre, to seventeen students; in both categories, they are formed for competitions.

Classes are dictated at Adelia María Ex cinema: Mini Volleyball on Tuesday and Friday at 18 hs. , and Women Volleyball on Monday and Wednesday at 19 hs.
Not only children or the youths practise this sport but also the adults in honour to The Physical Education Teacher Eladio “Lalo” Maffini participated in the tournament organized by Fundemur in Río Cuarto; two teams were formed: one category with players between 30 and 40 years of age and the other group with older players.

In the summer 2005/2006 they would like to organize a championship for men and women of different ages.
