This sport is practised in
the Adelia María Athletic Club, the Deportivo Municipal Club,
the Defensores del Norte Club and the Talleres Club.
The Adelia María Athletic Club has the following categories:
Juveniles, the divisions are, 5º Division (class ' 88), 7º
División (class ' 90), 8º Division (class ' 91), 9º
Division (class ' 92), 10º Division (class ' 93); Infantiles, 11º
Division (class ' 94), 12º Division (class ' 95), 14º Division
(class ' 97) and the 15º Division is promotional.
As the Adelia María Athletic Club did not have category ´96,
the idea of creating a Soccer School in order to teach four years old
children how to play football. Then the categories ´97 and ´98
were formed . At the moment the class 2000 is also working and the School
has fifty children. The objective of this institution is not the competition
but learning how to play. Classes are given twice a week during one
hour from March to November. As for the biggest Categories, 1º
and 3º Division participated of the Interligas Tournament, Argentinean
Tournament "B", edition 2001/2002 that allowed them to ascend
to First. In the second period, January, they will participate in the
Tournament of the Interior that organizes the Río Cuarto League.
The Club Municipal has the following categories: Juvenile category,
4º Division (class '89); Inferior categories, 7º División
(class ' 90), 9º Division (class ' 92), ;Infantiles, 11º Division
(class ' 94), 12º Division (class '95), 14º Division (class
'97), 15º Division (class '98) that participate in Tournaments
organized by the Río Cuarto League. This club also organizes
the Summer Tournament that is a national meeting. In 2005 the 1º
"B" Division participated in the tournament carried out by
the Río Cuarto League. At the beginning of November 2005, the
1º Division ascended to "A".
The Defensores del Norte Club has two football categories for children
trained by Carlos Fernández.
The Talleres Club does not have a football team but in the summer this
club organized a Daddy Football Tournament.In
2006, “Club Recreativo Talleres” created a football sub-comision
which organized a “Daddy football Summer Championship” and
it has also created a Football School for children and teenagers. Nowadays,
this school is participating in an independent football league.
