A
great amount of children of all ages began doing gymnastics at Adelia
María Athletics Club some years ago.
In the 90s, the artistic gymnastics belonged to the Union of Artistic Gymnastics Schools", and the teachers were Mariana Lozano and María Loimaz Peressini.
Later some new elements were bought and they are still used.
Nowadays there are thirty-five students doing Artistic Gymnastics. This year the great majority of students participated individually and in groups in two tournaments in Río Cuarto, and in a Provincial Tournament in which most of the girls became champions and sub champions, in each category, that caused great satisfaction to the parents and the institution, as well.
Some gymnasts trained in the Athletic Club Adelia María belonged to the Córdoba Federation of Artistic Gymnastics.
At the moment the classes are dictated by these teachers: Victoria Barro and Luciana Cornaglia, on Monday and Wednesday from 16.00 to 17.00 or from 18.00 to 19.00, at the Ex Adelia María Cinema.
